The Mashnee Island Grill will sponsor many events this year with proceeds being contributed to a local charity. 2006 Events include:

• Every Saturday afternoon Monster Lobster Raffle
• August 27th 1st annual "JUST-TRY-ATHLON" - Another wicked fun event!
  • 3 person teams @ $75.00 a team.  (receive t shirt and drink coupon per person)
  • WATER- Slip-n-slide
  • BIKE- Tri-cycle
  • RUN- Bar room marathon
  • Sunday August 27th 3pm
  • raffle and auction items
  • Money raised will be donated to a local veteran fund in honor of John Bevans and "D.B." Don Byrnes

2006 Charity is Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops
as of Sept 27th over $7000 has been raised

Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops is a non-profit organization started by 13 year old Dylan DeSilva. Dylan wanted to find a way to honor our soldiers for their service, dedication and sacrifices to our country. With the help of his family and friends he sends care packages to our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan on a weekly basis.
